All you need to know about Prada Group's packaging

The Prada Group is committed to promoting and expanding the use of increasingly sustainable packaging solutions to reduce environmental impact and contribute to a more responsible future, respecting the planet's limited resources. This page will provide information about special editions, packaging production data and disposal guidelines.

Reducing plastic usage on total packaging

Plastic packaging purchased by the Group accounts for less than 10% of the total—a figure that continues to improve thanks to concrete efforts in researching alternative materials. In 2023, for instance, the transition from polypropylene to microflute cardboard was completed for sneaker boxes and from plastic to paper for fabric bags.

Adopting recycled and/or certified paper and cardboard

Since 2019, the Group has implemented a strict policy on using certified and responsibly sourced materials and purchasing recycled and/or FSC-certified paper and cardboard packaging. Today, we are committed to consistently maintaining this percentage above 95%—a milestone achieved in 2023—by promoting traceable, sustainable resources across the entire supply chain.

Church's packaging

Church's packaging reflects the brand's identity: understated, elegant and enduring. Boxes are made from 100% recycled FSC-certified cardboard, leather goods and footwear are wrapped in 100% cotton fabric pouches, while the paper used for all orders is FSC-certified and made with 40% PCW (Post Consumer Waste). All materials are carefully chosen for their quality and recyclability, and polypropylene is used only in specific components such as seals and protective elements, always with proper disposal in mind.

Timeless yet ever-evolving. Church's packaging takes on a new form for special collections, interpreting the visual codes of the refined footwear it encloses. Every limited edition is conceived as a tribute to craftsmanship, transforming simple boxes into true collector's items: precious cases designed to preserve fine shoes and a lasting sense of style.
