For Spring Summer 2027, Church’s presented The Residence, an intimate, lived-in setting shaped by heritage, English refinement and everyday ritual. The composed elegance of city interiors, the relaxed rhythm of the countryside, and the softened light of evening: each of the three product families—Townhouse, Cottage, and Villa—was defined by its own mood, setting, and tempo, all while remaining grounded in the values that define the house: quality, craftsmanship and a quietly assured sense of style.
Townhouse drew on the codes and cadence of sophisticated social gatherings, reinterpreting vintage references with clean, contemporary lines. The poise of formal footwear is expressed through a lighter touch, refined leathers, and meticulous detailing. The styles and materials balance depth of colour, refinement and fluidity, showcasing shoemaking expertise through Goodyear welted construction, leather soles, and narrow hand-finished trims.

A more relaxed chapter of summer unfolded, evoking long lunches, garden paths, and weekends spent at a gentler pace. The Cottage family’s ease is brought to life through soft, lived-in materials, brushed leathers, and versatile silhouettes designed to move effortlessly between country and town. The Ideal construction, drum-dyed leather soles, and meticulously executed finishing techniques reflect traditional methods whose beauty lies in their quiet precision.
Conceived for the moments when the day begins to unwind and the boundaries between indoors and out fade away, Villa reimagined the loafer as a shoe free from constraint. Conceived for terraces, loggias, and long summer evenings, this family combine exceptional lightness and flexibility with refined detailing and a distinctive sense of character. The result is a selection relaxed in spirit, yet unmistakably shaped by Church’s craftsmanship.

As guests moved through the different layers of Church’s imagination, they were invited to explore the house’s tactile vocabulary in The Material Library and discover unique archive pieces in The Heritage room, in a constant dialogue between past and present. Bringing the narrative to a close, a special project centred on the iconic Shannon—reimagined in Doha calfskin and finished entirely by hand—demonstrated how tradition can still offer new ground for experimentation.
The evening cocktail was accompanied by a DJ set from Fiona Jane, the London-based DJ known for her refined and atmospheric sound, adding a further layer to the experience. The event welcomed friends of the brand, talents and personalities from the worlds of film, music and culture, including British actors Kieron Moore, Jay Lycurgo, Dimitri Abold and Leo Reich, German actor Daniel Brühl, British actress and director Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and British musician Lennon Gallagher.
